Title.


Last night, I was rushing through the essay because the dateline's on Wednesday. I became too desperate that I even texted my JC tutor in the middle of the night. Got nobody else but myself to blame on my last minute decision. And so, I ended up sleeping only at 2am.


What happened today..


Went Buona Vista for psychometric test at CSC for PSC scholarship. I was one of the earliest to reach. There were 44 applicants in total, out of which there was only one other Meridian, Nicky. The remaining 42 (we both reckoned) were "at least of NJ standard".

Yup. NJ, RJ, HCI.


Right then, I felt like a total loser, stuffed with shit and crap. I mean, c'mon, how can someone from MJ compete with those students from top schools?


But anyway, I was already there and there was no harm taking the test. Completed 4 tests which were crap:


1) IQ test
2) Math and Statistics test
3) This mini comprehension sorta test
4) Personality test.


Damn. I really dread getting back the results.


The whole thing lasted for 3.5 hrs, from 2 pm to 530 pm. And I swore I was almost bored to death doing them, plus it was made worse having all those students around. I almost wanted to just give up and walk out of the room but it'd be really weird so I stayed on. Haha.


Dinner&movie date with Weichong at Marina after that. Caught Confessions Of A Shopaholic. And I loved it!


Weichong will be away for 3 days with his canoe team at Bintan. Have fun!


Anyway, I shall blog about the Pulau Ubin trip with the girls at a later time because I'm lazy to transfer the photos from my camera to my computer now. No point blogging without any photos! Otherwise, it'd be another long, boring and pictureless post.. like this!



Poop.


I woke up this morning for my run and my house smelled like poop.


When I went down, my neighbourhood also smelled like poop.


I thought I might be the one who smelled like poop so I took a shower. But I still smelled poop. Maybe my shampoo is made of poop.


Or perhaps, there is too much poop in me because I haven't relieved myself in 4 days. :(


Eew. I can't believe I dedicated an entire post talking about poop.


Gross.



If you're wondering why I'm so free nowadays..


That's because I'm out of a job! :( And that's not something to be proud of. Most of the people I know are slogging their asses out to earn their own money and I'm either at home slacking or outside, which means spending money WHEN I DON'T HAVE AN INCOME.





THIS IS DEPRESSING.


I've decided. After my Korea trip, I, Ma MeiQi, shall start looking for a job!


Anyway, I just settled two VERY IMPORTANT things:


1) I packed and threw away all of my JC stuff, leaving only my notes. Took a freaking long time because there were just too much stuff to clear! Sigh, I can't believe 2 years have past, just like this! Chingying said this before and right now, I agree with her. Looking through all the notes and tutorials, I realised I miss studying! Especially Geography, which I guess almost everybody got enlightened at the last min by our dear Geo tutor, Mr Chris Chen and put in like 1000% of their effort! Though tedious, nerve-wrecking, excruciating.. studying is well, em- fun. Lol. Okay, this doesn't sound convincing at all.


Alright, I better stop before nostalgia starts pouring in..


2) I settled my university application, like finally! Chemical Engineering for NUS and Accountancy for NTU. I was still feeling 50-50 when I applied for these 2 courses. Papa was brainwashing me to choose Accountancy the night before. I just hope I won't regret my decision..



Recap.


It's a little past midnight and I just got home. Weichong and I attended our Jap lesson in the afternoon and I met up with my BFFs (Best Friends Forever, this is so gay) for a chit chat session over dinner thereafter. No guys, just us girls. :) And I can't believe we're all still that gay! Nobody else can make me reveal my gay side but them!


I love you girls!


We were talking and laughing like nobody's business even when we caused heads to turn at some points of our 'heated discussions'!


I SWEAR GAYS NEVER CHANGE.


And then, Jasmine was showing off this really interesting function of her newly bought SONY camera at the IT fair. Btw, she was damn happy because she got a photo printer as a free gift. SUPER AUNTY PLEASE. Haha. Anyway, this function of her camera can 'make someone who isn't smiling smile'. I think it detects your mouth in the picture and pulls up the two ends. Like this.

And so, my face ended like =))) and I tell you it looked really horrible because my face was all swollen and my nostrils all flared up. Huangyi even joked that I could take in more air with those nostrils of mine. I'M DARN GLAD JASMINE DELETED THOSE PHOTOS. UNLESS SHE SECRETLY STORED THEM IN SOME SECRET FOLDER IN HER CAMERA. Lol. But it was a good laugh. :)

Last Thursday and Friday was spent at Downtown East chalet with my family. Just the 5 of us, plus Weichong. BBQ was super sinful because the main chef, Wc, kept stuffing me with his deliciously BBQ-ed marshmallows towards the end.


It all went well, I must say, no controversies of any sort. Papa didn't say anything about Wc this time and I hoped it meant something good. Although Mummy did said Wc was a little fussy about his food. But I guess Wc can do something about his diet. Right, Wc? :)


Weichong turned 19 on Saturday. Ever as dedicated to canoeing, he went for training in the morning. We met at Junction 8 for lunch and decided on MFM since we haven't dined there before. The price was lower than that of F&C but so was the standard. The dory was a little too 'moist' for my liking, personal preference, but the fries reminded me of Australia, no idea why. After lunch, we caught Slumdog Millionaire and we both thought it was good. :) The fact that they are still screening it even after such a long time since its release means that it is a nice show. And I fully agree!


Travelled to Changi, in hope of catching the sunset, but our hopes got dashed by the unexpected rainpour. Dinner at Changi Village with BBQ sambal stingray (ten thumbs up!) and sambal kangkong. Spicy but shiok! We headed back to Tampines and on the bus, I had this sudden craving for something cold! To neutralise the heaty and spicy meal, I guess. So anyway, we guiltily crept into Swensens and ended up sharing a Topless 5, my favourite dessert there! I tell you, their sticky chewy choc is the best! :))


In an attempt to lose some pathetic calories from the overly stuffed and sinful meals, I MUST EMPHASIZE, MEALSSSS, AND YES THAT'S HOW DESPERATE I AM, we walked home. Though he was really tired at the end of it, I hoped he enjoyed himself, with me of course! Heh!

Go watch Departures if you have not. It makes you laugh (not like hehe giggle, but Laugh.Out.Loud), cry and ponder. It is one film you wouldn't regret watching. :)


Anyway, I think Weichong has this secret (almost!) fetish for Japanese girls! He commented on how cute the Jap girls look in the film and also thought our Jap tutor was pretty! Btw, we had our first Jap lesson last Sun and OMGLOL I think I speak Jap like an alien!

Sigh! Anyway! I'm still working on my essay, making amendments now. AHHH! URGHH! And I think the dateline is TODAY!

Last Saturday was spent at NTU's openhouse, which to me, didn't really help in guiding me to choose my course. But the catching up part thereafter with my ever-so-gay gypsy friend, huangyi, was great. Decided on an impromptu foursome dinner at Changi Airport's Popeye's but some idiot just had to ruin that perfect evening.


That idiot stole huangyi's handbag.


We combed the entire of T1 and even made a police report.


I'm sure he/she will get his/her retribution.


And cheer up k, huangyi.


As mentioned, Weichong and I went for our first Jap lesson on Sunday. It ended around 330 and we were both lazy to go NUS's openhouse. In the end, we skipped it. Kinda regretted it after that because there's a chance I just might get enlightened.


Now.. I just feel helpless. It's up to me and the brochures.

There was this tourist who asked us to take a picture of him with 2 butterflies which were resting on his shoulder and being kind people, we offered our help. But that was in his camera, not mine.


Exiting from the Fragile Forest, we made our way to this garden which was filled with many many pretty flowers!

ANYWAY, I'M GOING TO KOREA- 9 April! Currently, Ky, Sher and I are the only ones confirmed. Really looking fwd to have more of my girls joining us!


Sigh but I'm really really guilty because I'll be missing Weichong's enlistment on the 11th. I thought I'd be the one sending him off (I know it sounds a little inauspicious but I can't think of any other way to put it) but now he'd be the one sending me off instead. Was a tough decision made. I'm really sorry weichong.
