Dream.I had this dream last night.
And I woke up crying about it.
I know it's all fake. But, it felt so real and the images ever so vivid whenever i think about it..
I don't know.. It just felt so wrong.
Sunflower.
This was how it looked like on 14 Feb.
But after letting it dry under the sun, it became..

THIS!!!
All old and wrinkled and so not full of life! I don't know why but it kinda reminded me of how Benjamin Buttons looked like when he was just a 'newborn'.
:( :( :(
It's the weekends! On Sat, as a belated vday -kinda- celebration, Wc and I decided to go to the bird park, partly because of the free sms passes by STB. =X But after travelling all the way to Boon Lay, the other end of Spore, we ended up not going because of the long queue at the bus to bird park. And so, we caught a movie instead.
I know. All the way to Boon Lay, just for a movie! :( How dumb!
So anyway. We were deciding between Slumdog or Benjamin Buttons and we settled for the latter. It certainly deserved its Oscar nominations. (AND OMG Brad Pitt is damn hot!) Got me all teary towards the end. Wc complained about the draggy storyline, but I insisted it'd not be as nice if they rushed through the plot.
Allow time to help us appreciate the beauty of the story better. :)
The movie lasted close to 3 hours and it was about 4 when it ended. Roamed about Jurong Pt and man, that place was like this humongous maze! Without the signboards, we'd never have found our way out! Anyway, I was looking for my weights and I found it at Sportslink but I didn't know it was that expensive! 90 bucks for 18kg! DANG! :(
And so, back to the story. Wc kinda decided where to have dinner. Fish & Co @ Changi Airport. The place where we had our one month anniversary dinner, after MJ's openhouse. :)
So we made our way there (yes, the long train ride) and got a table immediately, without waiting. And we were really fortunate because soon after we were seated, this huge group of guys (I counted, there were 18 of them) came by and they waited for quite some time before getting seated. Heh, lucky or what? :)
Anyway, we both thought the waitress who served us was really chio!

LOSER. =P

No skill lor. Take until blur blur one.

So I took the honour of doing it myself. =X

HAHAHA. Retards!
Lol. So that was basically what we did to pass time while waiting for our food. Besides ogling at the chio waitress that is! :D

Seafood Platter for One! SUPER HUGE PORTION O.O

Spokesman of the year for THE BEST Fish n Chips!
We were exceptionally full after our main course and there was still dessert waiting for us. We ordered this cake but we both thought, how big can the cake be? Aiya, comfirm can finish one la.
But when the (chio) waitress brought us our cake, our jaws (almost) dropped!
IT WAS A FREAKING HUGE SLICE OF CARROT CAKE! And we actually thought of ordering another slice before that because we wanted to try the other flavour. Glad we didn't!

It isn't as small as it looks!
After our meal, we made our way to T3! And of course, every moment is the right moment to camwhore! Heh, I was the one who initiated it.

On the skytrain. He doesn't like to smile. :(

And when he does, he hides it.

I JUST have to post this because it's too hilarious. I'M SORRY WC! =X

I was supposed to twist but out came an extra finger! And I know we both look super unglam with our eyes! 3 cheers to slitty eyes! -.-

Yay!

Yay, again!

E.M.O.
And my pick of the day..

LOVE ♥
On Sunday morning, we went cycling at ECP (because I was lazy to wake up to run. =X) but it was a bad decision made because the weather was scorching! AND ONCE AGAIN, I GOT SUNBURNED. :( I was perspiring so badly that perspiration kept dripping into my eyes, causing this stinging sensation which made them tear. But at least we made it to Changi this time! :)
I'm a happy girl this weekend. :)
But I'm dreading work. :(
BOREDOMIS.KILLING.ME.
I'm super deprived of my social life. :(
Am like trapped in this mundane, boring routine!
When I wake up in the morning, I prepare for work. After which I go to work, from 2 to 11. When I reach home after work, I prepare for bed.
AND IT'S THE SAME THING THE NEXT DAY.
IM SO LOOKING FWD TO THE WEEKENDS, when I can finally..
Go Shopping.
Catch A Movie Or Two.
Buy My Weights. (I'm kinda afraid of the gym)
Go Cycling.
Go Running.
Treat Myself To A Yummy-licious Meal!
CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT CAN'T WAIT!
VALENTINES DAYis supposed to be a romantic day that you spend with that special someone.
But I was doing something unromantic on that day- WORKING. Not my current Mon-Fri job though. I stupidly took up some weekend job because of the attractive pay. And so, the opportunity cost being spending the day with Weichong. :(
Still, we managed to surprise each other, in different ways. ;)
I was at AMK hub as a 'crowdpuller', those kind that Singaporeans hate most. My job was to persuade strangers to sit down at our booth and complete 'a simple survey'. Sounds easy.. no!
4 out of 5 people whom I approached were either:
1) Sorry. No time.
2) No. Thank you.
3) Not interested.
4) Not responding.
Only 1 out of 5 was willing to at least stop and listen to what I have to say. But again, there's only a 30% chance that he/she/they will be willing to follow me to the booth.
But at the end of the day, of course I did reaped something. Besides my aching leg muscles (mind you, I stood for 12hrs on Sat and 10hrs on Sun!), my skin is like 10000 times thicker than before! And woo! The greatest harvest was my salary. My earnings during these 2 days was equivalent to my current weekly salary! :)
Alright, I'm off to work now. I'll be back to update soon!
